Roxy

Just typing this up so I don't have to keep rehashing this. It's emotional and I don't mind talking about it, but when I called Kayla back [I'll explain in a moment] an told her everything I just broke down crying. So... yeah.


I'll start when it begins for me.

I was talking on the phone with Kayla when my mum called. I don't get a lot of phone calls, so I accidentally hung up on Kayla and answered the call from my mum. She was crying and freaking out.

Apparently Roxy, my neighbor Evelyn's dog [a Shiba Inu, if I'm correct], was attacked and mauled by two, larger dogs[German Shepard]. When I got there Roxy was covered in blood everywhere and I could see her bones. I'm pretty sure some ribs were coming through her chest. It was really, really bad.

We call the owner, who was not home at the time, and 911. The owner gets home before anyone from 911 gets here and gets a hold of an emergency vet and Rushes Roxy there. A Sheriff showed up and asked us what happened and we told him what all happened. He contacted Animal Control [who I have no faith in; they're shit here] and no it's up to Evelyn to decide if she wants to press charges.

I called Kayla back to explain why I hung up on her and now I'm waiting to hear from Evelyn about Roxy.

Roxy went into cardiac arrest and passed away. the dogs got her jugular and she lost too much blood to save. at least she's not in pain anymore.

Yeah, things are just... really emotional here right now. I'm hoping something good comes from this, as the dogs who got Roxy have a horrible owner and I really hope she gives them up or something. She's one of those people who just should not own dogs. :/

That's horrible. I hope she presses charges against the owners of the two other dogs. -huggles you- I hate seeing animals hurt like that. When our two dogs got run over, I couldn't even go look at them.

She's said she's pressing charges if the owner doesn't give up her dogs, so at the moment Cathy, the owner of the two dogs, is putting them in the system for the Humane Society to take, as there is a waiting lest but they're a no kill place and will make sure they go to a good home.

Me too. It was just awful.

oh my gosh, im so so sorry, wether the situation deals with me or not, its only a matter of sorrows i can give. judging by the horrid situation, she should press charges, i feel so bad inside, i just wish i could talk to her myself, b-but that would be wierd xD.

but hang in there, i know you care so much, but i hate to see and hear that you're sad, on the other hand, just stay there for your friend at all times <:'3
