Pokemon Snap + SSBB
Aug. 1st, 2008 08:14 pmI bought Pokemon Snap through the Wii and man is that game fun. It was my first N64 game and the first game I ever beat, so it was a nice bit of nostalgia. And yes, that does mean I started playing video games in 1999, [I think I had a gameboy colour before that, but it could have been after... it was the Pokemon Pikachu yellow edition.] which means yes I have only been playing video games for about 8.5 years, so yes, I AM a total newb. Either way I was never much too good with games and I'm still not good, so maybe my late interest in it is to blame? xD
Anyway, after about 3 hours I've beaten Pokemon Snap, I've gotten a picture of all the pokemon, signs, and such. I haven't tried to beat the high score things, but I don't care about those... I guess for the fun or it and to get my money's worth I'll try to fully beat everything. :3
Well, this is a pretty pointless entry, but I just felt like sharing.
Oh, and I've been playing Brawl more. I got Sonic and he's actually quite fun to play as. And I'm getting better with Marth... although I think I've done best with Ike. :x It can't be helped, he's a freaking power house. I almost got Ganny but then he killed my Shiek because I SUCK with Shiek and I'm worse with Zelda and Link so I'm just screwed. So I need Kemi to finish the Subspace thing with me, as there is no way my mad button pressing will take down Ganny, even if that nick name does sound like Granny. Oh, and Kirby is fun too. I like the light and fast characters. I'd fail with Bowser. See, I'll tell you my weakness; falling. I suck at getting back on the stage if I fall. Hell, If the camera is zoomed out and the stage is dark and other characters look like me I'll get lost [No, I'm serious, it's happened.] and then realized where I'm at and that I was looking at a different character. I don't ever pay attention to the P1 over my character's head, I don't mean to, I just... don't. Oh, and that's my problem with Ike. He's strong, so I live longer, but the way he jumps back on stage includes going high up and then crashing back down. If I fumble and don't manage to make him go to the side and onto the stage he'll jump and then PLUMMET TO HIS DEATH. Its happened once before and I'm sure it'll happen again if I'm not careful. So I don't play as him much.
Hm, this is probably a boring entry. :o
